Frequent Questions

Couple Wondering

Although we get a vast array of questions from Brides and Grooms-to-be and attempt to address most of those here. This list of course is not all inclusive you have any questions that are not listed here feel free to contact us and we will be happy to assist you.

What kind of ceremonies do you do?
The kind you want...in length, style, & content. Do you want a religious or romantic emphasis, or a mixture of the two? Do you want traditional or contemporary worded vows? How long do you want your ceremony to last? Are you of different faiths and would like to combine elements of each? These are some of the questions we will go over to make your ceremony exactly what you want it to be.. We can do your ceremony planning in person or by phone/email if necessary.

Do you have any restrictions?
No. We will work with you to ensure that your wedding is how you want it to be. You may have a religious, secular, civil, multi-cultural, or spiritual ceremony, whatever you desire. As long as your ceremony is legal and tasteful, we will work with you.

Where do you perform ceremonies?
We have performed ceremonies in churches, in living rooms, in backyards, at parks, wedding chapels, special venues, historical buildings, hotels, the courthouse building, local mansions, on boats, in our offices...You get the idea!

Do you have sample vows?
Can we see them to get ideas for our ceremony?

Yes! We will bring samples of ceremonies when we meet with you or we can send them in a PDF file for you to view online. All ceremonies are customized to your taste but these past ceremonies will give you an idea of what we can do. We can insert words, phrases, or scriptures. We can remove ones that you don't like too. It is your dream wedding. It's all up to you.

Will you help plan our wedding?
Will you direct our wedding on our wedding day?

Although we can assist you in the proper direction that your wedding should transpire if necessary, to insure your wedding day is a successful event we do not provide in depth wedding coordination. If you are having a medium to large wedding party we encourage you to seek a wedding planner like the ones listed on our vendors page to make sure your wedding day is launched without a glitch.

We were thinking we might not have a rehearsal, do we need one?
No. You really don't need to have a rehearsal if your ceremony is a remarriage, but we do encourage you to have a rehearsal. It is important for young couples, and those that have never been married to have a rehearsal. It helps to keep everyone a little more calmer on their wedding day if they know exactly what will be taking place. Not all wedding venues are exactly the same, and we might need to or you might choose to make some adjustments to make your ceremony go smoother.

What do you wear?
Whatever you want us to wear! It's all about what you want to reflect. Fro many weddings, we will wear a suit. Some of our ministers can even wear ties to coordinate with you wedding colors. If you are having a theme wedding we can dress for the theme or wear traditional religious apparel.
